Friday is a very special day in Islam, even referred to as “sayyidul ayyam” (the master of all days). The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) stated that Friday is more sacred than other days because it marks the occasion of many great events, such as the creation of the Prophet Adam (peace be upon him), his descent to earth, and the day when the apocalypse will occur.
